EDITORIAL
It is my pleasure to present to our teeming subscribers of this current edition, Vol, 27,
Nos 1 & 2 (January December 2018) which is the tenth edition since the
resuscitation of the journal in 2004.
A cream of professional librarians undertook the edition and selection of very
stimulating and unique article submitted by experienced practicing Librarians as well
as seasoned educationalist in library schools in Nigeria.
The articles in this edition address various aspects of library and information practice
in today's library management system.
I wish to urge fellow librarians and Information professional both within and outside
Nigeria to promote the consistent production of this journal by carrying out empirical
research on burning issues in global information practices and the way forward for
practitioners in Nigeria, and to submit their findings, reports, book reviews to the
editor-in-Chief for publication. I assure you that your efforts in this regard will go a
long way in sustaining the tempo of research activity among library and information
practitioners as well as impact positively on library development in the country.
It is my sincere prayers that this journal continues to provide a cherished avenue for
authors to publish their works and that subscriber's would find this issue, challenging ''
