Abstract

The study aims to know the opinion of students regarding internship scheme using 400level students for 2017/2018 session of the Department of LIS,Delta State University,Abraka and Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Nigeria. This research employed descriptive survey design. The sampling technique used for this study is the quotasampling technique. The data gathering instrument was a structured questionnairedeveloped by the researcher. Data analysis was done using Mean standarddeviation. Findings revealed that respondents have positive perception of libraryand internship in both universities and the relationship between LIS students andindustry-based supervisors in both universities was cordial.
