Editorial

Nigerbiblios is a long standing professional journal with a large and wide subscription base. It brings currency, authority and accessibility to the reporting of current research, issues and debates in the broad area of library and Information Science.

It is my pleasure to present to our teeming subscribers of this current edition,Vo1.29,Nos 1&2(January-December 2020) which is the 13th edition since the resuscitation of the journal in 2004.

A cream of professional librarians undertook the edition and selection of very stimulating and unique article submitted by experienced practicing Librarians as well as seasoned educationalist in library schools in Nigeria.

The articles in this edition address various aspects of library and information practice in today's library management in Nigeria by Vol. 29, Nos 1 & 2 (Jan-Dec 2020)

I wish to urge fellow librarians and Information professional both within and outside Nigeria to promote the consistent production of this journal by carrying out empirical research on burning issues in global information practices and the way forward for practitioners in Nigeria, and to submit their findings, reports, book reviews to the editor-in-Chief for publication. I assure you that your efforts in this regard will go a long way in sustaining the tempo of research activity among library and information practitioners as well as impact positively on library development in the country.

It is my sincere prayers that this journal continues to provide a cherished avenue for authors to publish their works and that subscribers would find this issue, challenging and enlightening. Wishing you happy reading!!!
